I’ve been waiting a long time for an X-Men film to truly love – for me the predecessors of this film were all underwhelming in one way or another – so while I like the potential here (the Sentinels are one of my all-time favorite X-Men foes), I’m less than thrilled they brought Bryan Singer back, again, to direct. But who knows, maybe third time’s the charm?
