Being a huge fan of the 1979 miniseries adaptation (starring the one and only Alec Guinness), I was a tad leery of this remake – but then they hired Tomas Alfredson (Let the Right One In) to direct, and Gary Oldman, Colin Firth, Toby Jones, Tom Hardy, Benedict Cumberbatch, and Mark Strong to star, and I was SOLD. And now, after watching this trailer, I’ve crossed into ridiculously excited territory. Yes, please.
