We all know that Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows has been split into two movies, but have you ever wondered where part 1 will end and part 2 begin?
Wonder no more! According to io9, in EW’s latest issue, which is brimming with Deathly Hallows images and information, they reveal that Part 1 of the Deathy Hallows will end at about Chapter 24 of the book, with Voldemort gaining possession of the Elder Wand.
David Yates says of the films: “Part 1 is quite verite, quite real… You feel that these three kids are refugees. They’re almost homeless, and it feels interesting seeing them removed from the haven of Hogwarts. … Part 2 is much more operatic and colorful and fantasy-oriented. What gives you the through=line between the films are these characters and the real relationship the audience has developed with them.”
Part 1 hits theaters November 19!
