Three more directors join Hunger Games fray

DHD reports three more directors have been added to the list of finalists in contention to direct the feature adaptation of Suzanne Collins’ The Hunger Games. Joining Gary Ross, Sam Mendes and David Slade are Andrew Adamson (The Lion, The Witch and The Wardrobe), Rupert Sanders, a major British director of commercials, including Microsoft’s Halo, and Susanna White (Nanny McPhee Returns, Bleak House and Jane Eyre). Francis Lawrence (I am Legend) could also be a last minute addition.

All six directors are meeting with Lionsgate brass this week. A decision should be soon forthcoming…

My vote goes to Susanna White – I’ve adored her since Jane Eyre and if you watch the first 3 minutes below, you’ll see why I think she’d rock it.
