Ryan Gosling to star in Logan’s Run remake

From DHD – It looks like Warner Brothers will finally be making another Logan’s Run. A remake of the classic 70’s film has been rattling around Hollywood for years, but now, with Ryan Gosling signing on to star, and Nicolas Winding Refn (Drive) set to direct from a script by Alex Garland (28 Days Later), the project is finally moving forward.

Based on the book by William F. Nolan, Logan’s Run is a futuristic drama about a man who tries to outrun the mandatory death sentence that awaits all 30-year olds (in the book it’s 21, but they changed it to 30 in the original movie to match star Michael York’s age, and they’ll keep it that way to match Ryan Gosling’s).
