From Deadline – In what will be Netflix’s third original series order, the red envelope is close to a deal for Hemlock Grove, a horror series based on Brian McGreevy’s upcoming Gothic novel. Hailing from Gaumont International TV, the project will be produced and directed by Eli Roth (Hostel) and adapted by McGreevy and his writing partner, Lee Shipman.
As for the book, Hemlock Grove hits shelves March 27, 2012.
