Well, I do enjoy Toby Stephens (who I still think of as Rochester from the Jane Eyre miniseries), but the jury’s definitely still out on this one. Black Sails follows the adventures of Captain Flint and a young Long John Silver (the story takes place 20 years before Treasure Island) as they fight for the survival of New Providence Island, a notorious – and possibly the last – pirate haven.
Black Sails will premiere in 2014 on Starz.
