This isn’t the first time Richard Matheson’s short story, Steel, has hit the screen – it also served as the basis for a classic episode of The Twilight Zone, back in the day – but this time around no one can deny that they are rocking the cool robots. I’ll admit I wasn’t impressed by the first trailer, but this one has me changing my tune – largely because it lands square on my The Iron Giant soft spot. And who can resist an underdog story, I ask you?
Real Steel hits theaters October 7th.
