I have such mixed feelings about this… I really like the idea of Chris Pine inheriting Harrison Ford’s mantle, but from this trailer it looks like they might have lost touch with the heart of the franchise, i.e. the fish out of water, analyst not superhero type of guy. Plus Keira Knightley as a young Mrs. Ryan, that just annoys me for some reason.

Hmm I think you might be right. I also don’t like how they seem to be making Kiera Knightly’s role a bigger part of the plot. I do love Kevin Costner though so I guess we’ll see how this turns out. You know we’ll go see it.
