DHD.com reports that Dick Wolf, the TV titan behind Law & Order and its many spin-offs (including the upcoming Law & Order: Los Angeles), has signed a two book deal with Harper Collins imprint William Marrow. The deal was made by Morrow exec editor David Highfill, who got the book exclusively from 3 Arts’ Richard Abate and UTA.
The first novel will be a suspense thriller in the vein of The Day of the Jackal and Three Days of the Condor about a major terrorist attack planned for New York City during the July 4 weekend. A NYPD detective and the Joint Terrorism Task Force and the only ones who can stop it.
