Rumors are swirling that Eric Bana is the lead contender to play Nick Stone, the main character in Andy McNab’s bestselling series. Hyde Park Entertainment has optioned the rights and will base the first movie, Echelon, off McNab’s Firewall.

McNab, a former SAS, commanded the highly decorated Bravo Two Patrol during the Gulf War. He was the British Army’s most highly decorated serving soldier when he retired from SAS in 1993.
