Looks like a classic in the making!
Read the first book in one afternoon. It sounded a lot like Stephen King’s “The Running Man”, but with an added cruel twist, being it that teenagers were the contenders. Once again we see extreme hunger and poverty providing cannon fodder in the name of entertainment. Can’t wait to see the film. Hope it follows the book closely.
