So as you all know, Clockwork Angel, the steampunky prequel (first of the Infernal Devices series) to The Mortal Instruments trilogy, is out now:
But here’s some news that will make your day – Simon & Schuster has signed Cassandra Clare for books five and six in her bestselling YA series, The Mortal Instruments. Book four, City of Fallen Angels, is scheduled for April 2011. Books five and six – City of Lost Souls and City of Heavenly Fire – are scheduled for May 2012 and September 2013 respectively.
Clare is also in the midst of touring to promote Clockwork Angel – here’s her schedule:
