The CW wants more L.J. Smith

From TV Squad – No doubt hoping to emulate the success of The Vampire Dairies, the CW has tapped Elizabeth Craft and Sarah Fain (Angel, The Vampire Diaries) to pen an adaptation of Secret Circle, another series from L.J. Smith. The story follows a teen girl who moves from California to New Salem and discovers she’s a witch.

Book Jacket:

But when she falls for the mysterious and intriguing Adam, Cassie must choose whether to resist temptation or risk dark forces to get what she wants—even if it means that one wrong move could ultimately destroy her.
