From Variety – Kenneth Solarz (CSI:NY) and novelist Linda Fairstein have teamed up to pen One Police Plaza, an hour long pilot for ABC and producer Mark Gordon (Criminal Minds, Grey’s Anatomy). Angela Bassett has signed on to star in the project, which will center around the first-ever female New York police commissioner.
Linda Fairstein is the New York Times bestselling author of the Alexandra Cooper series. Her books are based on her experience working as a prosecutor in New York, where she served as head of the sex crimes unit of the Manhattan District Attorney’s office from 1976 until 2002.
