The Lotus Caves in development at SyFy

EW and AICN report that Bryan Fuller, the creative brain behind Pushing Daisies and Dead Like Me, is developing the John Christopher novel The Lotus Caves as a series for SyFy. Fuller and Jim Grey will write the pilot script.

First published in 1969, The Lotus Caves takes place on a lunar colony in 2068 and follows a pair of teens who break out of their bio-dome and stumble upon a hiding, sentient, non-human outside.

It’s about time SyFy did something in space again…
