From DHD – Warner Bros and Anonymous Content have acquired the rights to Fletch, the classic Gregory Mcdonald series that spans eleven books and spawned two Chevy Chase movies. Anonymous Content’s Michael Sugar and Steve Golin will produce, along with David List, who reps the estate. Naturally Warner Bros hopes to turn the property into a franchise.
