No one does the classics like the BBC, not to mention this adaptation stars the wonderful Gillian Anderson as Miss Havisham. Already aired in the U.K., this miniseries apparently caused a bit of a stir over its ending – I guess we’ll have to wait and see… In the meantime, I feel a Bleak House marathon coming on.
Great Expectations premieres April 1 on PBS.
