Love the creepy “Once Upon a Dream” cover (by Lana Del Rey), and casting Angelina Jolie as the Evil Enchantress was truly a stroke of genius – but I still have no idea at all what this movie is trying to be. A faithful retelling? An original take? An action-y adventure? A villain origin story? What IS it?
Maleficent hits theaters May 30.
Ha – we must have seen this at the same time. I agree that it looks cool but I have no idea what it’s about. This trailer makes it seem more like a horror movie, which would be kind of awesome.
